German to English translation services based in Berlin

About me

A British and German national, I was born in Manchester and raised nearby. After attending grammar school where I developed my passion for languages, I went on to gain a First Class Bachelor’s degree in German and linguistics from the University of York and a Master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Potsdam.

I held various in-house translator positions in Switzerland and Germany over a period of ten years before successfully launching myself as an independent provider of bespoke translation and editing services from German into English in 2011.

I relocated to Berlin in 2007 and alongside my translation work also chair and support parish committees and enjoy running marathons.
